Laser cutting has no cutting force, no deformation in processing; no tool wear, good material adaptability; no matter simple or complex parts, it can be cut by laser once precision rapid prototyping; its cutting seam is narrow, cutting quality is good, automation is high, operation is simple, labor intensity is low, and there is no pollution; it can realize automatic cutting layout and nesting, improve the utilization rate of materials, and produce low cost, good economic benefit. However, laser cutting round holes is not as simple as we think, and the irregular and insufficient verticality of the round holes is also something that happens from time to time.
Due to the flexibility and efficiency of laser cutting, the conventional round hole cutting has also begun to be realized by using fiber laser cutting machine. The cutting finished products not only have a smooth section, but also can be flexibly changed to meet the diversified needs of the factory.
However, using laser cutting machine to process round holes also needs some skills. Pay attention to the following items, which can make the processing more smooth.
Air pressure not suitable
In the process of blowing, when the air pressure is too small, there will be slag scraping and carbonization on the edge, and the pressure is too large and easy to burst holes. Therefore, it requires that the process proofer and the machine cooperate perfectly, and choose the right air pressure with experience, so as to make the cutting round hole fuller.
Too small round hole
The best way for laser cutting machine to cut a round hole in the ratio of round hole 1:1, that is to say, the ratio of hole diameter to plate thickness is 1:1, that is to say, the larger the hole diameter is, the easier it is to cut high-quality round hole.
Otherwise, when the energy of the fiber laser cutting machine is insufficient, the cutting hole is easy to leave the point breakpoint residue and the round hole is not round.
Servo motor parameter error
Sometimes there are ellipses or irregularities in the circular hole, which is related to the mismatch of the x-axis and y-axis movement. The direct cause of the mismatch of the x-axis and y-axis movement is the improper adjustment of servo motor parameters. Therefore, the quality of cutting round hole has certain requirements for servo motor.
Accuracy error of guide rail and lead screw
If the parameter error of the servo motor affects the cutting quality, the accuracy error of guide rail and the lead screw will directly lead to the hole accuracy not reaching the expected level.
