1. Battery welding

4. Conclusion

(1) When the laser spot is aligned in the welding process, the penetration is the largest. The change in pulse frequency has a great influence on welding penetration. With the increase of frequency, the shape of the weld pool changes from V-shape to U-shape, and the weld penetration becomes shallow, which leads to a decrease of strength. The frequency is chosen between 20Hz and 30Hz. Through the adjustment of spot location and welding frequency, the problem of insufficient weld strength of power battery is solved successfully. (2) Galvanometer scanning laser welding has been successfully applied to the welding of battery, mobile phone shell, and electronic package. The production efficiency and welding quality have been improved, which is a very promising technology.
